Shared Roots, Different Branches: Expanding Understanding of Child Marriage in Diverse Settings

The Journal of Adolescent Health (JAH) with GreeneWorks and partners launched a research volume highlighting the manifestations of child, early, forced marriage globally.

This special edition includes the Gender Norms, Control Over Girl’s Sexuality, and Child Marriage: A Honduran Case Study which explores links among marianismo, girls’ mobility and sexuality, and child marriage among adolescent girls in rural areas of Honduras. This case study features the Summit supported HEY! program.
