Citizens to Conserve and Restore Indian Creek is an organization
of concerned residents of the northwest region of Prince George's
County, Maryland. They share a concern for preserving Indian Creek,
a tributary of the Anacostia River.

quality, aesthetic beauty, and overall health of the Sligo Creek
watershed. One of the major tributaries of the Anacostia River,
the majority of the Sligo Creek watershed is located in densely
populated Montgomery County.

to protecting the environment and our water resources through
proper site design techniques that replicate pre-exiting hydrologic

works to enhance the quality of life in the Washington metropolitan

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is partnering
with other local, state, and federal agencies and interest groups
to clean up and restore the Anacostia Watershed.
